Hey Love Sac followers, PDSE Patrick Chuong here from Tysons Corner Mall in Mclean, Va.

This is going to be the first of many blogs for the company Ive worked for over 3 years! Since Ive been here, the company has grown in so many different ways. I’m proud to say I’m a Love Sac employee and owner! Now I have been given the opportunity to write about it.

“WE ARE LOVESAC“

Shawny D our founder, and probably the most unique entrepreneur Ive met; grabbed all of the stores Managers to possibly brain pick, mold and inspire at this years Managerfest09. The managers all gathered around and chanted We are LoveSac…WE ARE LOVESAC!!!! That was the on going theme this year, set in our headquarters in Stamford, CT. This company is made of itself. It grows or falls because of its staff. Its true when they say a company is only as good as its people. Here at Love Sac, we have the most talented, passionate, youthful and hungry people you can ask for. Imagine an idea already established. Now take that idea and improve it. Now take that improvement and inspire others to support it. Our product,our store, our staff all represents this company. We are not the norm! WE ARE LOVESAC!!! Why would Manager fest be any different? Anywhere else, if you told me you wanted me to attend a “manager fest” I’d probably laugh and say PASS! From experience when you here coporate manager convention, what do you think? 7am hotel conference, mass produced coffee and glazed doughnuts? –LAME–

YELLOW TEAM

I am actually envious that my manager Jeremy got to go! I don’t think anywhere else, a manager would be excited to go. He actually rubbed in our faces that it was going to be epic. Love Sac is nothing like your average company. That’s what I love about it. You get to be yourself and do something that is fun, and get paid for it! After the Stamford conference, the managers got split in teams and competed in a scavenger hunt. The craziest thing is, they did a road trip to New York for it. They got to run around all over time square! Did I mention I was envious? The teams were split into four: PINK team, BLUE team, YELLOW team, HQ Team. The list was nuts, and the experience was pretty unforgettable. Who else can say they ran around Time Square for a scavenger hunt, and it was work related. The winner of the Scavenger hunt willbe announced soon. I’m a little bias, Jeremy is on Pink and I hope the Pink team wins!
